The lap

Greenvale Park is the flowing one. A long main straight ends in turn 1, which was rebuilt in 2.55 to stop the car properly: it is now the lap's real braking zone and its one clean overtaking place. From there the road opens into a long fast right, a tighter turn 3, a set of esses and a run of flowing bends back to the straight. Every exit opens and the straights are the widest parts of the lap, so Greenvale rewards a driver who looks two corners ahead and keeps the car settled.

Corner by corner

  1. Start and finish on the main straight.
  2. The end of the straight, the braking boards and the stands.
  3. Turn 1, a proper stop now, opening into the long right.
  4. The long fast right, nearly flat in a settled car.
  5. Turn 2.
  6. Turn 3, a tighter right.
  7. The esses.
  8. The flowing bends home onto the straight.

How to drive it

  • Turn 1 is the pass. Brake at the boards, not before them, and take the inside; the exit opens into the long right and the move is done.
  • Through the long right, a small lift beats a brake. Keep the car loaded and it will hold the line.
  • The esses are about the second one, not the first. Sacrifice entry speed into the first to be straight for the exit of the second.

Race it

Greenvale Park unlocks in the career for 14,000 crew cash, earned from race prizes. Once it is yours it can turn up in the championship and in the Daily Challenge, where a wet day means less grip. Your best lap here goes to its own Game Center board, and any lap can be sent to a friend as a ghost.
